If the printing you are doing is just web pages or just information, then you don’t really need photo-quality printing right? To change the printer settings to low-quality, just go to Start–>Printers and Faxes, right click on your printer and then click “Properties”. When your printer info page loads, select “Printing Preferences”. This should open up your printer settings window, and from here you need to find a tab that says something along the lines of “Paper/Quality” or any tab that gives you the option to change the quality of your printing. Put it on the lowest quality possible and try printing a test page to see if it’s just good enough to be read. This will save tons of ink and printing time in the long run.
