Screen Shot 8

Recently we put out a tip about taking direct screenshots of your display. I have recently been given information on a nice little program that allows you to take screenshots of different parts of your screen that you specify rather than the whole thing. Screen Shot 8 would be a useful program if you wanted to take a screenshot of an error message or other issue and didn’t want the entire screen. This program also captures video and anything else off of your screen for you. The only downside is that it is not free, but it does come with a full package of features Thank one of our subscribers, Joseph, for this great tip. Also, if you ever find any interesting tips yourself and would like to share them in the newsletter, please feel free to e-mail them to me at JDillio12@aol.com.

Note: If you use alt+printscreen keys instead of just “Print Screen”, you can copy the active window (front window on display) instead of the entire screen. Not as in depth as the software above but can do the trick for some. Thanks Chris for this great tip!
