I have a pre-pay plan similar to this with verizon. It saves my husband and I both around 600.00 per year next to what we were paying. It’s .15 per anytime minutes. You put 20.00 on the first time and after that you only have to put a minimum of 5.00 or however much you want once every 2 months before the deadline date. The minutes you already have roll over each time. It’s great if your not a constant cell-phone user and then it last much longer than you would think. Just do the math.

Verizon also owns PagePlus Cellular that markets through independet dealers. Their lowest monthly prepaid plan offers 1200 anywhere/anytime minutes, 1200 text messages and 50 MB of data for $29.95. Customer services is not as good as Verizon’s but the price is right.

Just like Metro PCS, you need to buy a new phone from Virgin Moblile to get the plan though.

I have the $15.00 dollar a month with Verzion. I've had this plan for 10 years now, and when I was going to cancel it, I was informed it would never be available again. So I kept it. An ok plan, as long as your not a high volume cell phone user.

Everyone would definitely stick to Verizon if they promote this plan!!
However, Is there anyone who recently checked this plan still exists??
I just recently cancelled my Verizon, and was trying to slip to metroPCS $40 unlimited talk,text,web plan, but if this plan is still alive I'll stay for Verizon..

PagePlusCellular is a great option for a low usage voice plan. I ditched my at&t phones and got PagePlus and love it. When I disconnected my at&t phones I told them they did not have a plan that suited my needs. No reason for me to roll over 5 or 6 hundred minutes a month just for them to drop off after a year.

In the UK I am on Orange that is the ‘Virging Equivalent.’ No line rental and just 10p per minute for a call. Its greaty if you don’t use your phone all that much.
