I stumbled across a really informative government site the other day while researching a security problem I am having. The site is called, simply, Cyber Security Tips and is just that.
The site is very well organized as the 8 categories are broken into logical peices with relevant links to additional information under each. The content seems to be written in a way that it should not be a daunting read for anyone. The topic covered are:
- General overview
- Threats
- Email and Browsing security
- Privacy
- Mobile devices
- Software
This is a great resource for anyone looking to get a general education about online threats.
Note: I’ve posted an important addendum to the recent tip, Encrypting a Windows File, regarding an issue you should know about before using this feature. Please be sure you read it.
