Selective Source View In FireFox

FireFox constantly proves itself as an “unadvertised” by-developers-for-developers type browser. With it’s syntax highlighted view source and a myriad amount of plug-ins geared for developers, it’s hard to argue otherwise.

This said FireFox 2 offers the ability to highlight text on a web page and then view only the source for the selected portion. You do this by highlighting text on a page, right clicking on it, then selecting “View Selection Source”.

This shortcut is very handy as it keeps you from having to search through an entire page’s source just to find the piece you want to see.
