Microsoft wants your feedback, and they’re willing to give you free software for your troubles. Interested?
Only catch is that you have to give up your soul. Well, at least every bit of privacy that you have.
Microsoft has created the Windows Feedback Program. The way it works is that you can choose one of the following applications and install it – for free:
- Microsoft Windows Vista Ultimate (32-bit and 64-bit DVD)
- Microsoft Office Ultimate 2007
- Microsoft Money Plus Premium
- Microsoft Student with Encarta Premium 2008
- Microsoft Streets and Trips 2008
For the first 3 months of using the software, your every move will be watched and sent to Microsoft. You will also be required to fill out a quick survey at the beginning and then thereafter every 2 weeks. You must be running Windows Vista or Windows XP as your operating system, and the offer expires at the end of the year.
So, if you don’t mind Redmond watching your every move for 3 months, this can save you some dough.
