Set Something You Want To Remember To Your Homepage

If you have a task to remember, you probably have a method you use to send yourself a reminder. For an easy to setup method you “can’t miss”, consider setting a reminder page as [one of] your browser homepage(s).

For example, create an HTML file called “reminder.htm” and type what you want to remember:

<HTML>
<b>Task 1</b> <br />
<a href=”http://reminder.com”>Task 2</a> <br />
<HTML>

This file is easily editable and you can customize it to whatever fits your eye (include links, bold, font size/color, etc.). Of course this method will not be for everyone, but it may work for some.

    I like things that remind me automatically at the right time without having to remember to check something.

  2. You could also use a site like StickyScreen ( http://stickyscreen.org/ ) as your home page. Just key in your reminder at StickyScreen and each time you load your home page, the reminder is shown.
    Or you could load your reminder in a new tab. I’ve written a post on it:
