My Smoothie is a Pentium 90MHz with a 200MB hard drive, and two ISA 10Mbps network cards. Not sure how much RAM it has, but it's not more than 16MB. The only thing it struggles with is the Web Cache function. Turn that off, and it's very fast, even with a VPN connection active.

The hardware requirements for SW 2.0 are way overstated. I have the NIC cards addressed and I find myself at a prompt? I do not know any commands but need to set this up for a class I am taking? Do I need to connect to the net next? I would also like to upgrade to 3.0 and have loaded the images to a disc. Now I can not get the machine to boot from the disk?
Thanks

I have smoothwall 2.0 installed and am stuck!<br
