Some Free Stuff (Sort Of) You May Not Know About

Every so often retailers run specials where they give away something for one reason or another. For example, Starbucks gave away a free coffee on election day to those who voted. It is hard to keep up with these giveaways as usually you only hear about them through the grapevine. So to take a break from the norm, I thought I would pass along an article which points out a few free offerings you can take advantage of.

Next week is National Donut Day in the US (yeah, I haven’t heard of it either), so Dunkin Donuts is offering a free donut (with the only string attached being you have to purchase a coffee). Speaking of coffee, you can get a free one at ING Cafe with the use of the coupon linked in the article as long as you don’t mind potentially having to deal with a sales pitch.

The reason I have “sort of” in quotes here is while things are advertised a free, there always seems to be a catch. Regardless, if you are already a customer of the places above, why not take advantage.

  1. You really oughta lose the PoP-over screen newsletter pitch.
It makes your site look Cheap & is intrusive to say the least.
