Dunno. But, Apple is the trendsetter these days. When it comes to hardware anyway.
Hate to say it, but Apple is only really a trendsetter in the US (and not a good one, from what I’ve seen – they blatantly discourage debate about their policies). They have virtually no market penetration in countries outside the United States, both due to legal reasons and popular consumer interest.
