Staying Spyware Free

Posted May 28, 2005 by David Risley

Staying SPYWARE FREE is one of the most important things you can do to keep your pc running smooth and safe. Spyware will crash your pc, ruin your internet connection and make your internet surfing unsafe. Its such a problem for heavy internet users that people now dedicate quite a bit of time to fighting it and its communication equivalent - SPAM. I have a relationship with a company nearby called Sunbelt Software. They are nearby to me and I’m doing business with somebody who used to work for them. I was told about their utility called CounterSpy. I thought “yeah yeah”, I’ve heard of a lot of different spyware-fighting programs out there, but I figured I would contact them since they were located so close by. Soon after this they came out as a featured product in the April 2005 edition of PC World. CounterSpy was given PC World’s top rating in a comparison of several different spyware utilities. Of the 9 utilities, CounterSpy had the highest detection rate while also providing real-time protection. I thought this was fantastic seeing as these guys were right in my back yard so to speak.

Their program is only $20. Yes, PCMech has an affiliate relationship with them and I’m going to promote their product to you, but I do so with confidence that the program will do what you want it to do. And it goes without saying that the proceeds for sales of this program (and any other program we advertise) go to support PCMech and the free service we provide to you daily with these tips.
