The Steel Pad 4S is clearly a niche product aimed towards the “professional gamer”.  For that niche, the 4S delivers extraordinarily, giving smooth and accurate mouse movements for those who require these qualities for best performance.  Of course, investing in a high-end premium surface will not make you a great America’s Army player; it merely enhances your game. To those who don’t fall into this category, the Steel Pad is nothing more than an expensive mouse pad, a luxury almost.  But without a doubt, the Steel Pad 4S is a strong contender in the premium surfaces market.
