Support Free Websites By Clicking On Ads

I know a tip similar to this ran a long time ago, butÂ I believe it is worth mentioning again. Nothing is free in this world, and this includes web hosting. The fact is hosting costs money and bandwidth costs money.

The reason I bring this up is because the vast majority of websites which make their content available for free pay their bills through advertising revenue.Â While it is an annoyance to readers, it is a necessity for people runningÂ these sites. So if you like the site you just visited, give something back to them by clicking on an ad when you are leaving their site. It doesn’t cost you a thing and goes a long way to making sure the sites you like continue to be freely available.

Keep in mind, I’m not suggesting you click on every popup ad you encounter and make sure you never click on links in emails, just simply use your head. Odds are you probably don’t do work for free, so why should websites?
