I got to believe that they had a deal with Amazon to get it at a low enough price to be competitive if they were able to give back $30 in the form of a gift card. Sure, the gift card would be spent at Wal Mart, but it's still $30, and groceries are sold at a good price there. You gotta eat sooner or later! The Wal Mart price was lower than Amazon's, too!
