Temporarily Allow Pop-ups on the Google Toolbar

Posted Oct 20, 2005 by David Risley

Unlike the WinXP SP2 built-in popup blocker in IE, the Google popup blocker does not have the ability to allow pop-ups by domain whitelist. Instead, to allow popups on a certain site quickly, simply hold the control button and refresh the page (or, if you need to click on a link and the popup is continually blocked, hold the control button while you click). This should save you some time and frustration.

Monte is a 20-year veteran of the U.S. Air Force. Afterwards, he served a long career as a computer repair tech and network administrator. LEARN MORE
