The Apocalypse is upon us

It’s New Years Eve, and the year 2000 is just around the corner.
It’s 11:21 -0600 where I am, and both Japan and China have already
turned over to the millennium.  Neither have reported any major
problems.  Do I worry about Y2K.  Well, yes I do.  My
worries, are vested in Russia, and how their systems are.  If you
recall, we had this little skirmish with them a few years back called
the Cold War.  They still have nukes my friends, and they are
still pointed between our eyes.  My worries, are if their systems
will fail, and I turn into a 3 eyed mutant.  My fears were
heightened with Boris Yeltsen retired from his command as President of
Russia.  As for the Internet, it will always survive.  I
think a few servers will go down, but hardly any of the major
ones.  That will keep the internet up, so you’ll be hearing from
me next week.

The New AMD Athlon!
The commercial for AMD.  It’s got all the things that make a
commercial great!  Suspense, computers, and a woman with
humongous measurements!  Hopefully, AMD systems will start
selling these things like hotcakes.  I believe this commercial totally
blows away any of those silly Intel commercials with those damn
dancing bunny people.  The commercial finally gets the word out
that the AMD Athlon blows any Intel CPU away at the same clock
speed.  Now is the time where we can actually see some
competition between two giants in the CPU industry.  If you
haven’t seen the commercial, keep an eye out for it.  If you have
a copy of it in computer format, feel free to e-mail us and we’ll post
it on our site for download.
