I just read this article on Processor Comparison Guide
and I feel it didn’t tell enough. I know games are demanding but I don’t play games, and benchark test don’t turn me on. I would like to see a similar rating in bar chart form with all of the precessors reguardless of brand in one table in order of speed based on real program uses. I use a 2D CADD progrsm at work with file sises of 5 MB or more (sonetimes). I am shure they can find 3 or 4 other uses to test (large date bases) etc. Also they didn’t say how many motherboard platforms, chip sets or memory they used.
