My old 17 HP laptop had a 320 GB HD which I replaced this year with a 1 TB HD. It even has an extra HD bay that I could install another 1 TB HD in. Although at the moment I have a large laptop connected to a desktop monitor since the board in my 9-year-old tower failed. The laptop is certainly a lot quieter (as long as I don't play any demanding games), I miss the days of beige boxes and custom builds though. I agree with this article.
