To many, the idea that one could be addicted to Twitter seems…. outlandish. However, for some, it is the real deal.
I think Twitter has a lot of benefits, but it also seems to have some downsides. For example:
- The 140-character limitation would encourage poorly developed thoughts.
- The firehose of information would develop a hardcore need for that level of inflow, and an inability to focus attention for very long.

Well if celebrities are addicted than there must be something wrong with me… In all seriousness, it is a nice web tool for underground networking where tagging can open up opportunity.. It can also break the ice on a potential professional relationship. I have found it useful when needing to get a direct communication with a decision maker. Finally, attract readers through a comprehensive platform that enables them to judge my talent.
Some use it for usefulness sake. Others use it as their social life.
Twitter…. is ghay.
