I purchaced a CD of UBUNTU7.04 because i’m at the end of a slow dialup connection.
    I purchased a laptop w/win2000 on it.
Installing Linux crashed the machine and i had to install a copy of win XP home to restart.
Now Ubuntu will not install again and i do NOT have a sound from the machine.[no system,or/win media player.
    Any thoughts?
Thank you for your kind consideration.
