Upgrade Several Computers To Windows 7 For A Low(er) Price

Posted Nov 22, 2009 | by Jason Faulkner | 1 Comment

If you have several machines you want to upgrade to Windows 7, such as your desktop, laptop, family computer, etc., rather than purchasing individual Windows 7 licenses for each, take a look at the Windows 7 Family Pack. This package includes 3 upgrade licenses of Windows 7 for the current MSRP of $150. If you do a bit of shopping, you can find it cheaper.

Even at the MSRP, this is a great deal compared to purchasing individual licenses as it pays for itself after 2 upgrades. Just something to keep in mind.

The Windows 7 Family Pack is ’sold out’ according to the Microsoft website. It’s still available on Ebay, Amazon and a few other sites, if you’re willing to pay the price gougers! It’s selling for $250+ in most cases…still a small savings vs. buying three separate upgrade licenses.

Hopefully the public outcry will force Microsoft to re-think this move and bring back the Family Pack permanently!!!
