Use Bit Torrents For Downloading When Possible

Whenever you are downloading large files (such as CD/DVD images) and the option to use a torrent is available, take advantage of it. There are many benefits to downloading from torrents over a hosted file:

- Usually it is significantly faster because you connect to many peers to download instead of from a server which may be overloaded.
- Web hosting friendly. Since the distribution of the file is through peers, the web server does not bear the sole burden of your download. Hosts love this because bandwidth is expensive.
- You help others download the file quickly, because while you are downloading, you are also distributing it to others.

Bit torrents require a client to be utilized, so if you do not have one, Azureus ([http://azureus.sourceforge.net/]) is an excellent choice.
