Using AutoHotKey To Output The Current Time/Date From Anywhere [VIDEO]

AutoHotKey is a freeware macro utility for Windows that allows you to create keystrokes that can be used anywhere in the Windows environment. One way to use AHK is to set up a macro to output the current date and time, similar to pressing F5 in Windows Notepad. This is something many find useful because there are times when you’d really like to have a super-fast way of inputting the current time/date without any hassle. Once you have your AHK configured to do it, you can have that information output at any time from anywhere in Windows where you can type text (browser, chat, email, anywhere!)

See video below for details. The script for AHK is below the video.

AutoHotKey Script for use with WinKey+Z (if you want to use a different letter, change Z in the first line to whatever letter or number you wish as long as it’s not in use by Windows itself for another function).
