Most people find a browser’s “inspect”, traditionally known as a “DOM Inspector”, fairly useless because it doesn’t provide any information one could use.
Google Chrome’s “Inspect Element” however does provide useful info, specifically statistical data with nice charts that answers the simple questions of: How big is this web page? How long did this web page take to load? This information is especially useful if your internet connection is “acting slow”; you can use Inspect’s data to perform speed tests on specific web sites to determine whether it’s your computer or your ISP that’s the slowpoke when the data rate slows down. See video for details on how it works.
