In the ever-increasing mobile phone tech market, one thing that’s been sorely lacking is the ability to display Adobe Flash content well. At the present time most devices, including the iPhone, have little to no support for Flash.
Microsoft has stepped up to the plate and licensed the Adobe Flash Player runtime for the mobile version of Internet Explorer. In addition they’re also putting in Adobe Reader LE for PDF viewing.
Even though the licenses for Flash and Reader will be "lite" versions, it’s still far better than what’s available right now. Flash and PDF are without a shadow of doubt two of the most widely used formats on the internet, and having a mobile OS support them with readers/players from the source – literally – is definitely a step in the right direction.
