Windows Validation No Longer Required to Install Microsoft Internet Explorer 7

Due to the fact Microsoft considers Internet Explorer 7 a high priority upgrade, the WGA prerequisite is no longer required in order to install the software.

Even though Dave and myself are both die-hard Firefox fans, we both have IE7 installed because it does serve to provide many mandatory Windows updates (too many to list here.)

If you are using Windows XP and use Internet Explorer 6 but couldn’t upgrade to 7 because of WGA, you no longer have to worry about that. Upgrade now – even if you use an alternative web browser.
