Windows laptop users frustrated with their touchpad may want to take advantage of the Click Lock feature. Click Lock allows you click and hold the mouse button for a second or two (depending on the settings you chose) to have the target Icon “locked” to your pointer. This feature makes it significantly easier to drag and drop files as you do not have to hold a button while dragging with the touchpad.

Activate Click Lock here: Control Panel > Mouse > Turn on Clicklock
