I was reinstalling windows XP home edition on my computer… asked to choose country/ region…. when i selected my country… the “next” button wnet grey so i had to choose another country that works… does that mean the CD is faulty?

I tried it in ACER aspire 4736 core 2 duo laptop, with builtin GRUB loader.

Enter the bios (pressing F2 or DEL) and change the sata mode to ATA (IDE) from the default.

Restart, reinstall Windows XP and you will be fine.

setup doent show any drive instead it says it cant acess the drive

I have an Acer Computer Intel(R)
Core(TM)2Duo CPU E7300 RAM:2GB
32bit Operating System HDD:320GB.
When I try to install WinXP it gives in the midle of intallation process a mistake:(You may have problems with hard disk or you may change or delete hard disk controlers), so I don’t know what to do) and I can’t intall this Operative System. By other way Windows 7 Ultimate is perfectly instaled, but I want XP becose is more compatible whit other software.

I installed a problemtic version of windows xp black and now my pc stuck!When i turn it on it shows the HP screen,then it turns black and after few secs shows an error messege saying that some files of win xp black are missing and finally restarts!the same thing all over again…What can i do?????? Pleaaaaaaaaaaaase HElP!!!!

i instal windows sp2 in sp3 but it stuck while loading in the process. how should i restore ma sp3 or reinstalled sp2

plz check RAM
IF YOU HAVE MORE THAN 1 RAM THEN YOU CAN CHANGE THEIR POSITION OR IF U HAVE ONE RAM THEN YOU CAN CLEAN THE ONE SIDE. OF THE RAM BY ERASER.
POWER ON THE COMPUTER AND INSTALL WIN.

hey after i start the boot from cd ..it checks for system configuration and then hangs..i tried changing the cd rom…i got one from a frnd where i installed windows from the same cd..but nothing happens ..i am currently using turbolinux.
