As promised, I have ended the contest for the aluminum laptop stand from Lapworks today. This contest was done through Twitter.

The winner is Zane Savage. His Twitter profile is @zanesavage. Zane isn’t new to Twitter, but his entry in the contest stood out. Here it is:

As expected, I didn’t have nearly as many people enter this contest as the last one – and I’m sure it is because I went through Twitter to do it.  I will, though, be using Twitter for contests in the future, too, so if you’re not onboard, I invite you to do so. I may actually do up a quick video to show people who to do this, because there still seems to be confusion in the PCMech audience on how to use Twitter.

And for those of you who just think Twitter is a waste of time, yeah…people thought the personal computer wouldn’t catch on at one time, too!
