Those crazy wacky guys at MIT are at it again, this time with a system that tracks YouTube videos that are taken down for copyright violation.

There are a few things you’ll immediately notice about this site.
First, it’s a bit slow to respond. But don’t fret, it will eventually.
Second, the best part is the big “2″ on the right that shows real-time (I think) copyright violations taking place. IT NEVER STOPS. Ha!
I don’t think YouTomb monitors everything but its currently monitoring a good chunk of vids out there.
The internet has answered yet another question. Can copyright infringement be entertaining? Yes.

Pistol shrimp? Somebody got upset about finding their video on pistol shrimp on YouTube? Buahahahaha!
I wish you could search the whole site for individual videos you KNOW have disappeared from YouTube. Or am I missing something? I tried!
