Best i ever saw -while it was around - was ZipMagic. It had just about every useful feature you may have wanted. It's biggest competition, at the time, was Stuffit. They probably saw the possible muting(making it mu-te)of their product. So, somehow, they bought up the product "ZipMagic". Pity. I still prefer pkzip though. but only because I tend to prefer using the command line/keyboard shortcuts as opposed to pointing/clicking to do the more mundane type tasks. As far as winzip is concerned I tried it once could not figure it out and uninstalled it .
