Zune XP Theme and Good Wallpaper = Cool Looking Interface

Sometimes all it takes is a different look on things to cure the doldrums of the Windows XP interface.

With Windows XP you get three themed choices, Luna Blue, Olive or Silver. If you have the Media Center Edition there’s one more called “Energy” if I remember correctly, and that’s another blue one.

But no black.

The Zune Windows XP theme is a free download from Microsoft. It’s black and orange and looks cool. Combine with good looking wallpaper (in my desktop a Ferrari Dino concept car) and the overall look is much different.

I personally dig it and maybe you will, too.

The install is stupidly easy. It does not require any add-on theme software. Just download the file, install it and you will have a “Zune” choice for a theme. Yep, it’s that easy.
