So basically it didnt start up.Does the board have leds on it?If so your book that came with the board should have the codes listed when your leds do what you sat they did.It could be very simple.Check you wires going to the board.Especially the power switch wires. They may be backwards.Try reversing them. There should be something printed on the wires.Nake sure they face the same way.Look at you book that cam with the board and make sure they are right.Remove and replace the memory sticks.Make sure you hear a click and the clips that hold the memory in are closed all the way.I suggest reading the wiring section of the book and double check them.If they are all right them i suspect you may have a bad board,or a power supply maybe. Its all troubleshooting. If you have a buddy with the same type of machine try using his memory if its the right type.If you have access to an ohm meter you can check the voltage coming out of the power supply.Look on the internet for help. This site isnt the only one you can get help from.Ask questions from the place you bought your parts. If its not to late try returning the board and get another.Im in southern calif and if your close by i will be happy to help you.My email is pennynleigh@msn.com

A>:? Where do you get that? In a black DOS/BIOS screen? If so, your partition table is probably corrupt, you should use tools like GPartEd for erasing partitions. Write it on a CD/USB, delete all the partitions you see listed and then try installing again.

It's also possible that the drive is hidden (if you have Vista or Win7). They get hidden if there is nothing on the drive or the drive isn't formatted. It's best to use a tool like GPartEd to format the second drive, and then it should show up.
