Did I Mess Up?
Just completed my build. Booted up, everything going well. Installing Windows XP Home SP2 OEM and it asks for the Certificate of Authenticity. Go to enter it and.....it's not there. Printed on the back of the small manual is the statement that it was removed by PC manufacturer and placed in the PC. But I'm the manufacturer. Does OEM windows not come with a COA? Now I'm stuck at the install screen and can't move forward without it. BTW I bought from Newegg. Should I call Newegg or Microsoft?
Any advice appreciated,
Ted
