After spending several hours assembling things, I seem to have everything connected (somebody slap me, I didn't try to boot before I screwed everything down).

Asus A8N-E Mobo, AMD 3800+, 2 Gb OCZ Platinum PC3200 RAM, WD 250 Gb HD, XFX 7800 GT card. Antec Sonata II case with 450W PS. When I turn on the power button to the PS, the motherboard light comes on. When I press the power button on the computer, everything seems to come to life: DVD-ROM and DVD-RW power on, I can hear the HD turning, video card is lit and powered, CPU heat sink fan is running.

However, I get no signal on my monitor. I have tried: removing one stick of ram, resetting the CMOS battery, and switching the SATA cable from SATA 1 to SATA 2. Can someone suggest where I might have a problem?
