Hey Steve, the D-Link I have is the DI-524 wireless router with 4 ethernet ports and 2.9Ghz frequency for the wireless connection, I hope you don't have wireless phones on the same frequency, cuz I did!

My setup is the westell 2200 to the D-Link, then I have two computers on ethernet cables then one laptop on wireless and it connects anytime anywhere in my house, I have the WEP Securtiy on...And I connect thru Dynamic IP so you really don't need to mess with to much!

and yes the D-Link instructions are very simple to set up the network, you just got to remember what your access code and channels are when you set up the other computers to access the network.

I'd say go to D-Link to get more info on the router, however its an awesome router, works great!
