Yup, I had it there for awhile, and tried setting it Automatic, Manual, or Disabled, and none worked.

Then I uninstalled the old version, and it dissappeared.

I've got a new harddrive that I need to add, so I'm thinking of making it the master with a fresh install of Windows XP. It's a 250 GB Diamond Maxtor SATA with 16 mb cache.

So maybe I'll solve that problem with the fresh install.

I'm planning on using one of my current IDE drives in an external kit that I got from Newegg. Incase you care.
