I know this will not sound like much to you guys and gals, but after taking off much of the summer from learning linux, yesterday I assembled a little better system from old parts (my wife who doesn't like me spending money on computer stuff took over the Duron system I built earlier this spring to use to learn Linux) I had hanging around my workshop, and installed Redhat 6.0 (I know, bad distribution). I have just been able to connect to the internet through my household LAN and this is the first message I have sent. To Quote Mel Gibson from a couple of movies "FREEDOM!!!"
