In safe mode, open a command prompt and run CHKDSK /R on all associated drive letters (i.e. chkdsk c: /r ,etc.) and see what happens. If it tells you the drive is locked, it will offer the option to do it on next reboot, type Y, close the window, and reboot. If you still have problems, download WD's diagnostics and run them on the drives.
