See, I didn't understand that...heh. Right now I haven't screwed anything in, but I have a 40 GB IDE drive (my old HD) nestled underneath a brand new 250 GB SATA drive. First question, is there going to be huge problems with compatibility? I haven't researched enough to know if theres a problem using an older non-SATA as a slave to the newer SATA ones. Secondly, theres only about 1cm between the two, are they going to get too hot?
I can just forgo the floppy drive for now, all I have is an old cannibalized one anyways...so I put the newer one where the F.D.D would normally go, and the older one directly beneath. It can't be this easy, what am I missing?
