yeah that would work but, the initial holes in the mesh bit are more like 1mm size, so i could push a hole through the paint once it's dry, but would have to use a needle and then i guess i might end up chipping the paint. Might have to try it on one drive bay cover and see what happens.

might try some google searches for painting mesh of coolermaster stacker, never know someone might have done it.
