I installed that Zalman in a new PC and the temps were better but not what I was hoping for. I realized that the Zalman directs air "onto" the CPU. I turned my rear fan to direct air "into" the case and it made a significant differnce in the CPU temps. I am very pleased with the Zalman unit. Quiet and effecient.
