Hey there everyone,
My previous PC build went off without a hitch thanks to the wonderful folks on this forum, so I've got an idea brewin that I might like some help with.
I would like to build a Media PC to hook up to a television I have not yet purchased. So as far as the TV goes, I can make sure I buy one that will work with the PC. I would like the PC to go to the TV and home theater. I would want it to have a remote as well. It would be used to store and play music, and play DVDs/CDs.
It NEEDS to be able to hook up to a reciever for the home theater, and I would like an optical port for it.
Questions:
Is it possible to play DVD's in
true High Def?
If so would it rely more on a video card, or the DVD player itself?
Any major bugs with Windows Media Center Edition that anyone knows about?
For a PC like this would the focus be more on RAM or CPU?
Im not looking for a list of componets I should use, but if you want to post a link or two, thats fine.
Thanks a million!
