If you are using AOL Broadband for your service and it's DSL with an AOL-provided DSL modem (Actiontec, Westell, or Modem Blaster), you need to set up the router in a very specific way. You need to create a dedicated screen name for the router PPPoE login, and change the router's MTU to 1400.
