IS that CPU a prescott core?
I have a 3.0G prescott and they run hot. I had mine up for a few months and temps averaged from 60-70 after it was running for a while. The CPU fan and heatsink were really loud and I bought one of these:
ZALMAN CNPS7700 and my temps are around 50 now, sometimes aroud 40
I was told that it is normal for prescotts to run much higher...
