Case Mod Idea
This morning an awesome case mod idea popped into my head. However, I don't have the time, equipment, or money to get it done. So, I thought that I'd post it and maybe someone else would like it and try it. I'd also like some comments on the idea. First off, you will probably need a dremel (which I don't have). The idea is to buy a window kit and do the following:
1. Gather various circular items of different sizes.
2. Use a sharpie (or some kind of marker) and trace circles of different sizes all over the side of the metal case door (but within the area that the window kit covers)
3. Remove the side door and cut out the circles (this will probably take a long time).
4. Install the window kit with the glass behind the circle cutouts so there are "bubbles" that you can see through on the side of your case.
5. Install some lighting and the effect will be even better.
Post a comment and share your opinion. Do you think that this is possible? Has it been done before? Will you or anyone you know try it?
