I don’t understand this either. Why are they not needed? Why would I not need to adjust my contrast if I was not happy with the setting?
I know I can still adjust mine – using NVidia to do so. When I right-click on the desktop – this is an option I have.
I also played with a Sceptre before purchasing the Dell. I found that if I changed the color temp (or something like that) from preset to “user defined” – then I could change the contrast on a DVI connection on the monitor itself.
I’ve not played with this much on the Dell. Maybe I will this weekend... :-)
