ASUS is a solid motherboard manufacturer. Check out one of their SLI boards.

Asus may be great & Antec is very nice. But---

I have an Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe mobo and an Antec TruePower 2.0 550w EPS12V psu. I had & am still having problems with the initial connectors. Specifically the EZ_PLUG. I can't find anything from the PS. There is not enough info for the noob to go on. I have called and written to Antec with no solution to this dilema. I wrote to Asus two days ago (31 May) and have yet to hear from them. So can anyone help me?

I admire all you younger folks who appear to grasp these problems and come up with the proper solutions. My 67 year old brain doesn't work as well as it did.

My rig in progress:

Case: Antec Sonata II (removed PSU not SLI compatible)
PSU: Antec Truepower 2.0 55OW EPS12V
Mobo: Asus A8N-SLI Deluxe
CPU: Athlon AMD 64 3200+ (weak point)
RAM: Kingston 1GB Twin Sticks

Planning to get twin 6600GT Video Cards; Floppy - Mitsumi USB2.0 & FDD Digital card reader;
Hard Drive (next purchase) - Seagate 250GB 7200RPM ( model # not handy); Opitcal Drive is still not decided on but am thinking of the Pioneer DVR(dual-layer).

I am adding this after more reading in the forum:

I maybe should have started a new thread for this question. My apologies to any and all who maybe offended.
