so i have a wireless WRT54G v.6 linksy router with a wireless linksy network card and internet, file sharing work fine for the first day or two, but then the entire connection drops and i cant connect on any of the computers in the house. I have 1 computer hooked up wirelessly, and other two are wired. have xp professional on two computers and xp home on the computer hooked up wirelessly. running windows firewall as well. whats weird is that i can access files on any computer but can't get the internet to work even though it says it has a connection at excellent speed. im back to my old dlink wired router. i tried to talk to linksy support but they keep telling me my computers are too far apart, which i believe is BS, because the wirless computer is only upstairs, and have heard of people who have had much larger houses and their connection works fine. any ideas on whats going on? just weird it would work great one day, the the next day the connection entirely drops on all computers.
