Have you got a copy of Partition Magic? or a bit of a long shot what about harddrive diagnostic tools? you would have to enable USB legacy in the BIOS and see if you can see it with the HDD diagnostic tools.......ah are you using the Dell in your sig? can you access the bios and enable USB legacy on a Dell?
